Multipulse is working with FirstGroup to design and supply kits for a tablet-based driver advisory system (DAS).

An evaluation process is under way, involving the extensively modernised Class 442 trains, soon to be re-introduced on London-Portsmouth services, and the Class 158/159 diesel units providing some Great Western and South Western services.

Advisory systems can help drivers to use energy more efficiently, with both environmental and economic advantages.
