Multipulse has been a sponsor to the Railway Benefit Fund again this year and on Thursday 18th June took part in a charity golf day. The event raised more than £12,000 which goes directly towards all the good work RBF does, providing much-needed help.
The charity, which was founded in 1858, supports railway workers and their families and today it reflects the needs or concerns of those working in an ever-changing industry. RBF offers a diverse range of help and assistance to railway people or their families both still active and retired within the industry.
The charity said: “This event now has its own momentum and the feedback from the teams this year was terrific, with loads of enthusiasm for a further joust with the course next year. We are already working on this and hoping everyone will be able to join us again in 2016.”
Multipulse Managing Director Neil Ramsey added: “Once again some of best-known names in the UK rail industry came together to take part in competing for the cup. It’s a great occasion – far more than just networking or catching up with colleagues. Whilst we didn’t leave with the Barlow Cup this year, it was a great day with perfect golfing weather, a really good turnout and plenty of fun was had along the way whilst raising as much money as possible for such a good cause.”
